A couple of weeks ago, we had Thanksgiving and it was pretty authentic too. The only thing we skimped on was the turkey (we had chicken). Actually, I shouldn't say "we". As you can see, the only contribution I made to the feast were the cranberries, and I didn't even buy those--just opened them.
Kat invited one of her co-workers and her co-worker's son. That was pretty fun as they had no idea what stuffing was. You should have seen the look on the kid's face when we started pulling bread crumbs out of the butt of the chicken. Sorry, that's a lie; we didn't go traditional. Still, it was fun to share; after all, isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?
